A reminder that the listening assessment will take place on Wednesday, April 27th. I have shortened the section slightly; students now only have to focus on the section of the reading passage that ends at "le porteur a répété" (from the beginning until this sentence). Students on modified French programs need only focus on the section from the eginning to the end of "les chants des oiseaux". Students on extended programs are working on the first page of their Louis Pasteur text (front side only).
Tips for preparing:
1) TRANSLATE: You need to be able to write the English meaning of the sentences read to you in French. Please see the document(s) below for the translations (your translations do not have to be exactly as they appear on this sheet - I am just looking for the correct meaning overall)
2) TRANSCRIBE: You need to be able to write the French sentences that are read to you. To practice, practice writing down what you hear using the text-to-speech tools in the last blog post or having someone read the sentences to you.
If you take the time to prepare, you will succeed! Vous êtes capables!
